Does what it says

I do not often use the parking permit, as the car parks I use are mainly local authority or National Trust, of which I am a member; but when I do use a PDNPA car park it is very handy, as I don't have to find coins or a phone signal. I see it mainly as a way of supporting the Peak District National Park.

definitely no longer value for money

I understand Peak Park has financial challenges and a price rise was expected, but this level is in my view only going to make things worse.
I came here to renew but I am going to see how I can manage by parking on the roadside for a while.
Someone needs to review this pricing in terms of overall income reduction- but I doubt they will.

What Idiot?

What idiot thought one of the ways to alleviate the problem of people parking on verges and to encourage them to park in official car parks is to raise the price by almost 100%? What other lunatics in the asylum endorsed the idea? Apparently the price has not increased since 2013, more fool you! Had the price increased by £5 a year no one would have minded you would have had more money to spend year on year (and be over £70 by now). Increase it by £10 this year most would have paid up. But you can see by the feedback PDNP may (hah) have misjudged things.
I am not renewing, I'll park on the verges.
