A lot of these walks were extremely short and probably ideal for many wheelchair users. There were only a couple of slightly longer walks that we wanted for someone who uses a walking stick, so it wasn't quite what we needed.
Miles Without Stiles - Easy Access Routes in the Peak District
Excellent pocket sized book that has a wide range of easily accessible walks. I work with people living with dementia and their carers, who love to get out and about in the beautiful Peak District, but are not always sure which walks they are able to do. This book takes all the guess work out of it.
Excellent book and enjoyed two of the routes. Any possibilities of one on trails suitable for scooter riders outside the Peak distruct.i. e Derbyshire.e.g. The High peak trail from Middleton Top
Not had chance to try any walks due to the covid, however seems fine. One point, walk distances are given in kilometres so perhaps rename Kilometres Without Stiles. Not quite the same ring though is it! Give us miles as well then!
